The JB Marine Springfield U13 squad won the U13 Gold Bracket of the Blitz United Fall Invitational Tournament held in Tulsa Oklahoma on October 25 and 26, 2008. The JB girls tied the Claremore Freedom 1-1 and lost to the Highlanders 96 team 0-1 on Saturday, but rebounded with a 2-0 win over the Tulsa Soccer Club 96 Red girls on Sunday morning to qualify for the semi-finals. JB defeated the TSC 97 Black team in the semi’s to advance to the finals. Bailey Pesek scored a header goal off a corner taken by Whitney Snow late in the second half to seal the 1-0 championship victory for JB Marine Springfield. Congratulations on your success ladies! The JB Marine 92 Girls took first place finish at the Broken Arrow Soccer Club Labor Day Invitational Tournament this past weekend. After winning all of their regular pool games, they met Yukon Pride in the Championship Game Monday afternoon. After 90 minutes of regulation and 2 OT’s, the JB Marine U15 girls won 2-1.
